Wall Mounted versus a Floor Standing Vanity

When choosing a bathroom vanity, there’s more to consider than just style. Wall-mounted and floor standing vanities each offer unique benefits that can influence the look, feel, and functionality of your space.

Wall Hung or Wall Mounted Vanities

A wall-mounted vanity maximises visible floor space, they actually create an optical illusion of making the room appear larger! They’re also a great choice for a more contemporary, minimalist look. For the more practically-minded (read: mum) - as the vanity unit is elevated, it makes for easy cleaning underneath.

Wall hung vanities, as their names suggests must be safely fixed to the wall (by a licensed plumber), please see our installation video guide here

Full Height or Floor Standing Vanities

The key benefits of a full height vanity are generous storage capacity, which certainly helps in the quest towards an organised and clutter-free bathroom haven; and the ability to cover existing floor plumbing or pipework. Sometimes you don’t need a complete bathroom ‘renovation’ as such. A vanity and mirror cabinet update may be enough to achieve the desired makeover or freshen up… in this context not having to move existing floor plumbing can be achieved by selecting a floorstanding vanity.
